Nine West –Rocha, Dark Pink

Ciao a tutti!

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to do something I have never done before –be the subject of a photo shoot.

Ten years ago, when Joel and I were married, we eloped and never did any of the traditional pre-wedding/wedding stuff…and no, it wasn’t a shot gun wedding! We had an intimate ceremony on the beach, barefoot in the sand at sunset. And the wedding pictures??? Well, you can see for yourself!

So when the opportunity arose last week for us not only to take pictures, but to take pictures in settings that were typically ‘us’ –the streets of Catania (where we walk and shop), an outdoor café where we sip cappuccino and caffé (espresso), to an abandoned house (Joel dreams of remodeling) …we laughed, we kissed, we reminisced…all while the shutter of this brilliant young photographer captured our intimate moments and transformed them into memories of art.

Victoria, thank-you for making a 10 year old dream a reality!  Baci!
