I Got a Wedgie! Nine West -Emmo, Medium Blue

As you know by now, my fellow Shoe-A-Holics, I love a good wedgie! Get your filthy minds out of the gutter! I'm talking about the shoes of course and not...err...well...the other wedgie! It seems that it's time to go back to school for another fashion grammar lesson!

wedg·ie noun.

1. A shoe having a wedge-shaped heel joined to a half sole so as to form a continuous undersurface. Often used in the plural.

2. Footwear shaped to fit the foot (below the ankle) with a flexible upper of leather or plastic and a sole and heel of heavier material

3. A shoe with a wedge heel

It's such a shame that over time, words that society once embraced freely have changed in meaning to the point where the word no longer garnishes the same denotation it once had. So in the spirt of embracing what once was, go out today and sport your best wedgie! (Sometimes I can't help myself :)
