Monday's Must Have Shoes: Fergie -Bingo, Blue

Ciao a tutti!

Another must have for any serious Shoe-A-Holic is a sky-high wedge!  Anything that lengthens your legs, I am all for, but what is so tantalizing about these beauties is that you have the stability of a wedge!  Could a pair of shoes be anymore perfect? I agree, no!  And that is why I purchased them in all three colors!

Sunday Show Stopper Alert! Nine West -Tautou

Attention, Shoe-A-Holics!
We interrupt your regularly scheduled blog for this Shoe-Stopper of a post!

It's a Fashion Show, my fellow Shoe-A-Holics,
and guess who was putting her best fashion foot forward?

At this mid-summer outdoor fashion show, Express clothing company Rocked the Sidewalk with fashions from their Fall 2012 Collection.  From formal wear to furry vests, mini skirts and easy to wear suits, locals visually feasted on fashion, and they didn't leave hungry.

The proverbially kid in the candy store, to my surprise, I caught more than just a glimpse of my favorite Super Model, Alek Wek!

And of course, I was scoping out these shoes; even Christian Louboutin made an appearance at the show...this shoe looks a little like the beauties I posted two weeks ago!

And after the show?  We headed out for dessert at Lulu's Chocolate Bar!  Very Berry Martini's and a Cappuccino Brownie...ahh, it was another memorable night in some very memorable shoes!

What I did for my Birthday: Fergie -Bingo, Taupe

Ciao a tutti!

A beautiful end to a fun-filled-jam-packed-birthday-adventure, I got to see an American classic, Casablanca, on the big screen.  Not sure why I haven't seen this World War II era black and white film, but having the opportunity to see the movie as it was originally intended, was well worth the wait.  And my praline-topped butter pecan ice cream served in a homemade waffle cone was the icing on the cake!

Quick Birthday Checklist Summary:

þ Girls Night Out
þ Breakfast at IHOP
þ Sunbathing at the Beach
þ Some Culture at the Asian Festival
þ See Casablanca on the Big Screen

Oh, how ever shall I top this year's birthday...you'll have to check back next year!

Mid-Week Matinee: Akademiks -Tanchers

Ciao a tutti!

It's been a week since your last Midday-Mid-Week-Matinee; from the What's Her Fantasy? archives, a Sixty-Second Sexcapade which is sure to delight! And as always, I hope this gets you through the remainder of the week!

***WARNING***
The following story is not for the faint of heart and is NOT intended for those under the age of 18! Consider yourself forewarned!

Is There Room for One More?

Every morning I am late for work.  Even when I make it in the building on time, I still must wait for the elevator to take me to the 23rd floor –the elevator ride is long enough, but waiting among the masses that are populated with people each trying to make it to their respective floor by 9 am, is what makes me late.  Yes, I could wake up an hour early –that would put my alarm time at four in the morning and journey into the city, but my job doesn’t pay me enough; so I am content with being 5 to 10 minutes late, rather than being an hour early.

For the last month or so, I’ve really been making an effort to be on time –well, not exactly on time for work per se, just early enough to catch the elevator, with the fine Samoan dude, Frank, that works in accounting.  He just transferred to our company’s corporate headquarters in Chicago from our branch office in Hawaii –he graduated from the University of Hawaii where he was a star football player.  And if that doesn’t make his sexy ass fine enough, he possesses a business degree with a concentration in finance –he minored in accounting.

Everyday, I just miss the elevator with Frank in it.  I imagine my morning starts off the same way:  I run through the lobby and push my way through the crowd only for the elevator doors to close just before I reach.  Then, perhaps the sensors pick up some sort of interference, and the doors open.  Frank has pushed the open door button to the outbursts of the other angry riders and he tells me, “Come on in...there is room for one more.”  I look at the other riders who are visibly upset that the car has been delayed, then back at Frank.  “Come on,” he says again, “I’ll make myself small.”  He turns from the space in front of me to face the interior of the elevator, and sure enough he has created a space, although quite small, yet large enough in which I can fit –and I squeeze in, in front of him.  I too face the interior of the car.

Frank shifts slightly to accommodate me, and I am cradled in his chest.  I shift to create some space between the man before me and his briefcase that continues to hit my knee.  I move back as far as I can onto Frank.  He whispers in my ear, “Every time you move like that, you’re make me hard.”  I apologize.  The elevator stops on the 12th floor.  People get off, but the man with the briefcase doesn’t move, and I stand as still as I can, with Frank pressed hard against me.  Thirteenth floor.  I can feel his breath on my neck, and I am aroused.  I rub my bottom against him deliberately, to and fro, then apologize.

The elevator reaches the 16th floor and stops again. The man with the briefcase gets out, along with everyone except Frank and me.  He turns me around in the empty elevator and I face him.  He squats a little and reaches up the hem of my full-length skirt, and pulls down my panties.  I step out of them.  We’re on the 17th floor.  Frank rubs his hands up the back of my thighs, as he makes his way to standing.  In one fell swoop, he lifts me up and holds me under my thighs.  He carries me to the corner of the elevator, pinning me against the walls; I wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. We’re on the 18th floor.

Using his chest to stabilize the two of us, he holds me with one arm, while the other unzips his pants.  I feel his...

Working Nine to Five! Franco Sarto -Vero, Taupe

Buongiorno, amici!

Styling Tip #3: Keep it all in the family! Color family that is.

If you're having a hard time pairing items, don't worry. Fashion, or more accurately, what is considered fashionable evolves; and what was once considered to be taboo is perfectly acceptable today. For example, plaids and stripes together get the green light provided you keep them within the same color family; even wearing varying shades of the same color are a go ahead, like what I'm doing here.

The color taupe is such a delious shade of brown (and grey). For the suit, I went with a dark taupe then swung the pendulum all the way to brown for my purse and then in the opposite direction to a light taupe for my shoes. I opted for a lighter top in the daytime and paired it with a statement necklace with a mix of amber-orange bobbles and wooden beads for a contrast in texture to the sateen of the suit.

What do you think?

Do you have any styling tips for work? Please share!

Type Z -Cuoio

Buongiorno, Amici!

Okay, Shoe-A-Holics, how are you doing?

As you know by now, I love a sale!  And the only thing I love more is to share bargains with good friends!  There is a sale coming up a one of my favorite places to shop, and if you've done your taxes by now, that refund is coming at just the right time!

Well known fact: Zappos.com has great products which is probably only outmatched by it's customer service...but if you're like me, spending a lot of that hard earned cash can really get you down!

Little known fact: 6pm.com is Zappos' little sister, with much of the same merchandise, but at a fraction of the price!  So now you know where to shop, can things get any better?  Yes!  This Friday (tomorrow) 6pm.com is having a Tax Days Tax Craze! boasting 500 styles under $50!  Clothes and shoes alike, their deals are out-of-this-world!

So, sign up for their emails now, so you don't miss out on their deals later, and I'll see you online!

Buon Shopping!

Michael Antonio –Thorston

Ciao, a tutti!

As you well know, I love shoes!  And what is better than a new pair of shoes?  New shoes you get at a deal.

I got these beauties from DSW.com (Designer Shoe Warehouse –which if you’ve ever been in their stores, it is exactly that).

Shopping online has been out of necessity here in Italy. My shoes size is virtually non-existent. Let me tell you what I like about shopping at DSW.

I signed up for their Rewards Member program, which is free. And if I purchase over $35 dollars of merchandise, I get free shipping.

But get this, the more you buy, the more you get.

You accumulate points every time you shop, and you can sometimes find coupons online for double or triple your points.

When you accumulate a certain number of points, they send you reward coupons for a certain dollar amount.

These shoes were marked down to $19.94…minus my $10.00 reward coupon......cost me $9.94…not bad for a pair of shoes that normally retails at $48.00.

Oh...I almost forgot...Rewards Members get a $5.00 off coupon for their birthday...Buon shopping!

Baci!
