Bucket List: Naughty Monkey -Close Encounter, Chocolate

Ciao a tutti and hello autumn!

My fellow Shoe-A-Holics, I love fall in the south!  When I moved to the states some years ago, the beautiful fall weather quickly endeared me to my new home.  Gone were the days of October snows and functional scarves to shield me from an early season arctic blast; instead I was able to layer on sweaters in the brisk autumn mornings on my way to class only to be basking in the midday sun by lunch.  And I loved it!

Southern Europe was exactly the same; although I wanted the unrelenting heat of summer to pass, I felt cheated out of one of my favorite seasons.  With the ushering in of fall, I had a second chance at summer (sans the beach) from mid-September well into November.  It was like college all over again!  Finally cool enough to be out during the heat of the day (low 80's), I would put on a pair of walking sandals and head to my conversational Italian class.  After a cappuccino and a bite to eat, I would explore all the city had to offer...and I relished every minute of it!

Okay, my fellow Shoe-A-Holics...it's not exactly Storming the Alamo, but it did rain while I was wearing these fabulous Alamo's by Two Lips! So technically, I can cross #10 of my Bucket List!
An enjoyable morning (that is until the rain came) at the Water Festival...river rafting, toadfish fishing and tours of the Coast Guard Cutters; beautiful vistas, shopping and a little sun to soak up...who could ask for anything more?

Guess where my shoes took me today, my fellow Shoe-A-Holics?

That's right, the zoo!  In the hopes off crossing #7 off my Bucket List: See a Zebra if I'm Lucky!

A gambling girl at heart, I didn't think I was going to be able to accomplish the mission at hand...I made it to the right continent, but only the gazelles abound (so, there weren't very many gazelles, perhaps they were too close to the cheetah exhibit!)

I had scored big at the Roulette wheel the night before, won at Baccarat and didn't Crap out...at this rate I couldn't lose...but would my lucky hold out?

 And it did!  Three Aces!

Time to quit while I'm ahead...

even I know when it is time to fold 'em!

What I did for my Birthday: Misbehave -Belove, Black

The birthday celebration got off to an amazing start in these lovely stilettos from Misbehave!  Still a couple of days away, it was a Girls Night Out; eating, drinking and a cappuccino pie to top things off, there was only one question left to be answered: How much trouble can one get into in such a pair of sexy stems?

Bound by secrecy, from the other parties involved, I am not a liberty to divulge the remainder of the festivities of the evening.  But now I am wondering if I can check off #5 from my Bucket List: Misbehave with my Beloved's, if all charges were eventually dropped...need to investigate!

I can check off # 6 from my Bucket List because with these shoes, I am officially one of the Cool People!  Now you know, my fellow Shoe-A-Holics,  I am a Steve Madden Girl (or as I like to refer to myself: a Maddenista) from way back, and love all things Steve; but this time...with these shoes, Steve has managed to up his game and capture two of the things I love most: heels + the beach... which adds up to one amazing shoe!

I don't know which is more fun...making a bucket list or checking the items off!  Well, here I go!  I can check off  #2 from my Bucket List:  Be a hot mamma in my Hot Mama's!  I've been waiting a while to wear these beauties; the stud and grommet detail on the vamp of the shoes married up perfectly with the embroidery on the skirt, forming an blissful union of style!  My only regret now, was not buying the black pair when I have the chance...but onward and upward...what's next on the list?
